Relativ am Ende des Goldenen Horns befindet sich ein großer Friedhof in Stadtteil Eyüp. Dieser ist der Stadtteil Istanbuls, der stark traditionell muslimisch geprägt ist. Geht man durch den Friedhof auf die Anhöhe, gelangt man zum Cafe Pierre Loti, das seinen Namen einem französischen Offizier und Dichter verdankt, der im 19. Jahrhundert ein paar Jahre in Istanbul gelebt hat.
